About Artist

Junghoo Kim is a jewelry artist from Korea. She had a B.F.A and a M.F.A of Seoul National University, Korea, and a M.F.A of the State University of New York, New Paltz, USA. She is winner of several international competitions such as the first prize of the first annal colar of light contest, USA, the grand prize of the contemporary jewelry competition, Korea and the first prize of the international earring competition, USA.  She has attended more than 180 exhibitions in Korea, the USA, UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Hungary, Turkey, Japan, China, Canada, Austualia, New Zealand, Russia, and Kyrgyzstan. Public collection includes Schmuckmuseum, Pforzheim, Germany, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, U.K, Cooper Hewitt Museum, New York, the USA, Yale University Art Gallery, New Heaven, the USA.

金姃厚是来自韩国的首饰艺术家。 她拥有韩国首尔国立大学的艺术学士和硕士学位，以及纽约州立大学新帕尔兹分校的艺术硕士学位。 她曾在多项国际比赛中获奖，如美国第一届轻量级比赛一等奖，韩国当代首饰比赛大奖，以及美国国际耳饰大赛一等奖。 她曾在韩国，美国，英国，德国，法国，荷兰，匈牙利，土耳其，日本，中国，加拿大，澳大利亚，新西兰，俄罗斯和吉尔吉斯斯坦参加过180多个展览；公共收藏包括德国普福尔茨海姆的首饰博物馆，英国伦敦的维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆，美国纽约的库珀·休伊特国立设计博物馆，美国纽黑文的耶鲁大学美术馆。
