Jun Hu

About Artist

Hu Jun, born in 1970s, studies metalsmithing and Jewelry design at Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology and holds a master’s degree. He is a professor of Jewellery Design at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. He regularly contributes to metalsmith and jewellery magazines in China, authoring critical reviews and essays on traditional and contemporary jewellery from around the world. Hu Jun’s work is in the public collection of the Gold Museum of China and has been widely published in articles and specialist international contemporary jewellery publications. He is a member of Chinese Arts and Crafts Institute and the Society of North American Goldsmiths.

胡俊，生于20世纪70年代，在北京服装学院获得金工首饰设计专业硕士学位，现任教于北京服装学院首饰设计系。他定期为国内的金工和首饰杂志撰写有关世界各地传统首饰和当代首饰的评论和文章。他的作品被收藏于中国黄金博物馆，并被刊印在专业的国际当代珠宝出版物中。他是中国工艺美术学会和北美金匠协会的会员。
