Einat Leader
A jeweller, curator and a researcher in the field of jewellery & metalwork and in the theory &practice of design & crafts. Born in Jerusalem, 1966. BA from Jewellery Department of Bezalel (1992), and MSC inIndustrial Design, from the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, Technion, Haifa (2003). She is an associate professor of the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem (Jewellery and fashion department head 2005-2013).
Her works have been exhibited around the world including Chicago, Berkeley, Denver, Rio de Janeiro, Madrid, Pforzheim, Germany, Tel Aviv, Chateau de Bonaguil French, Holon, San Diego, Hohenems, Austria, etc. In addition, her work has appeared in many Israeli books and catalogues. Received awards or prizes such as Greiber Prize for Judaica Design (1991) and The Meisler Prize for Design Excellence (1991). Her Master's research was awarded a prize of excellence in the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning of the Technion, was published partially in books and design journals.
