On November 22nd, 2022, the "City Second Space Art and Design Season" series, specially supported by the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai and co-organized by Shanghai Design Capital Promotion Center and Shanghai Metro Public Culture Development Center, officially kicked off. The exhibition "24 Hours' Collection of Everything: Humanistic Practice of Contemporary Jewelry Design", curated by jewelry artist Chai Jichang, was opened to the public free of charge at the Cultural Gallery Parlor of Shanghai Metro South Shaanxi Road Station.

The exhibition invited thirteen outstanding artists from China and abroad, including Israel, Italy, and the UK, with artists David Gerstein, Anna Talbot, Ilan Garibi, and Dana Hakim participating in the exhibition.

"24 Hours' Collection of Everything: Humanistic Practice of Contemporary Jewelry Design" is curated from the everyday lives of ordinary people. The artists recreate an object by asking someone close to them or a stranger for it and the story that comes with it. In the contemporary art context, the wearing of jewelry has long gone beyond the functional limitations of displaying one's wealth. The conceptualization of jewelry design and the three-dimensional presentation of sculpture make this exhibition a special fit with the second space of the city, the subway station, and it is believed that the exhibition will renew people's perception of jewelry and create a more immediate and extensive social impact in the subway exhibition space.
